Thank you for stepping forward in faith!

3 WAYS TO STAND WITH FOSTER FAMILIES

Respite Care

Caring for these special kids is a full time job. Give foster/adoptive parents you know a break by offering to provide respite. Whether you take the kid(s) for an afternoon or a weekend, this is the #1 way to can help a family. And you don’t have to be licensed to foster to do it.

Provide a Meal

A couple pizzas can go a long way toward relieving some of the stress on a foster parent. Taking a meal, especially after a new placement, removes that burden from a family working through big changes.

Pray for Them

Ask a family about their specific needs and lift them up to the Father. Pray for the parents, the children, the siblings, the birth families. Prayer isn’t the least you can do for them — it’s the first thing you should do for them.
